Every child has a unique way of learning and understanding.
These differences are key to helping them succeed.
In my experience working with students, I’ve found that no matter which way they learn—whether by visual, auditory, kinesthetic, or read & write—my approach is flexible, allowing me to switch between styles, and even incorporate hands-on learning, based on what each child needs in the moment.
I start by getting to know your child through communication, observation, and interaction.
From there, I create an environment where your child can thrive.
Using the PencilSpaces platform, your child has their own interactive online classroom, complete with sticky notes, writing tools, manipulatives, and boards.
They can log in anytime to review material we’ve covered—making each session accessible and meaningful.
But here’s where it really makes a difference: I function as a personal math trainer online assessment and intervention provider.
That means I’m not just tutoring—I’m assessing your child’s learning style, identifying gaps, adjusting the teaching approach, and providing intervention strategies when needed.
This ongoing cycle of teaching, evaluating, and modifying ensures real, lasting progress.
Every 8–10 weeks, I assess your child’s progress to see what’s working and where we may need to pivot.
Parents love the regular updates.
Students stay motivated because they can actually see their improvement.
One of my students, Susy, learned best by jotting down quick notes and reading them aloud.
We used this strategy to tackle tricky fraction problems—and soon, she had them memorized like the lyrics to a favorite song.
She earned her first 90 on a math test that year, and her confidence soared.
Her mom was thrilled—and I was, too.
Some students need to move while they learn—and that’s okay with me.
They’re free to stand, rock in their chairs, or take short breaks without losing focus.
We use a reward system, topic-based games, and sometimes even brain breaks with challenges to make learning fun and interactive.
When something isn’t clicking, we switch it up.
Maybe they need a visual example.
Maybe they need to write it down, hear it again, or approach it from another angle.
As a personal math trainer online assessment and intervention educator, I’ve learned that the key is flexibility and responsiveness.
My years of experience—including homeschooling my five kids and teaching in both private and public schools—taught me how to connect with all kinds of learners.
When a child feels heard and understood, they open up—and real learning begins.
I want parents to feel confident they’ve found the right tutor—someone who truly understands their child and is committed to helping them thrive.
Education is about more than just academic success.
It’s about building confidence, nurturing curiosity, and creating a strong foundation for life.
